primary stage in Irbid District from the parents’ point of view. The sample
consisted of the parents of those students who have learning disabilities.
Those (384) parents have had direct contacts with the resource room they
responded to a questionnaire prepared for this study. The questionnaire
consisted of (27) items divided into four domains: the parents’ participation,
learning environment and discovery, reinforcement methods, and evaluation
methods. The results revealed that the teachers used a moderate degree of
practicing strategies for arousing curiosity, and they used the first domain
of parents’ participation more frequently, then evaluation methods, and then
reinforcement methods and finally evaluation methods. The results showed
also that there were significant differences in parents’ point of view regarding
practicing strategies due to sex in favor of females, and schools’ kind in favor
of private schools, but there were no significant differences in parents’ point
of view regarding practicing strategies of arousing curiosity due to class
level. In the light of the results, the researcher gave some recommendations.
