The sources of Tension that the Professional Trainers of Sports in Jordanian Universities Face.

The study aimed to identify the sources of tension that the professional
trainers of sports in Jordanian universities face.The researchers used the
descriptive method.The study population consisted of (132) coached and
trained workers in Jordanian universities in the first semester of the academic
year 2011/ 2012, and was chosen intentionally.The Marco scale was used to
measure the sources of vocational tension.It consisted of (34) items, subjected
to the coefficient of validity and reliability.The data were analyzed statistically
using the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the percentage, and test
(t test for independent sample) to denote the differences.The study pointed
out that the sources of career tension career came within two levels (high,
medium) .The results also showed no statistically significant differences in
the Jordanian universities due to the variable of sex, and no of statistically
significant differences attributed to the University for the axes (working with
students, potential , salary) , and the presence of statistically significant
differences in favor of private universities for the axes (administrative support,
and the relationship between the trainers) .The researchers recommended the
need to expand and increase sports’ facilities and to review the ranking of
salaries in Jordanian universities
