This research explains the rhetorical styles in the speech of Abu Bakir
As- Sidiq- Gods bless him – when he was proclaimed Caliph during a very
critical period in the life of the Islamic nation. The significance of this speech
is still echoed till this present time. The research is based on three main
aspects:
First aspect: The eloquence of Abu Bakir As- Sidiq and his precise
comprehension of the Quranic verses.
Second aspect: Two texts are quoted from the speech of Abu Bakir As-
Sidiq.
Third aspect: The rhetorical styles in the speech of Abu Bakir As- Sidiq.
This research reveals the outstanding eloquence of Abu Bakir As-
Sidiq’s speech: it is an artistic, literary and political masterpiece that serves
its purpose and knows no time or place boundaries.
It’s worthy of us as politicians, scholar, and orators to take this speech
as a model both for its structure and significance.
