The degree of implementing quality standards of education in the schools of Al- Karak and Al- Aqapa Educational Directorates from the point of view of the educational supervisors and teachers

This study aimed to investigate the degree of implementing quality
standards of education in the schools of Al- Karak and Al- Aqapa Educational
Directorates from the point of view of the educational supervisors and teachers.
The study sample consisted of (270) educational supervisors and teachers.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a
questionnaire which consisted of (54) items distributed on five domains. The
validity and reliability of the instrument were established.
The results of the study showed that:
1. The degree of estimates of the study sample came in the moderate – level
in the domains of school management and student, while three domains
showed low level (teacher, curriculum, and community) . The total
estimate of the standard came in the low level according to the criteria in
this study.
2. There were significant differences at the significance level (α= 0. 05)
between the responses of supervisors on the scale and the overall average
(μ =108) .
3. There were significant differences at the significance level (α= 0. 05)
between the responses of teachers on the scale and the overall average
(μ =108) .
4. There were no statistically significant differences at the significance
level (α = 0. 05) of the degree of implementation of quality standards in
education due of the variable of district of education except in the domain
of community in favor of Al- Karak Directorate of Education.
5. There were no statistically significant differences at the significance
level (α = 0. 05) for the degree of implementation of quality standards in
education due to the sex variable, except in the domain of teacher in favor
of the female teachers.
In the light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the
need to train managers in strategic planning, emphasize the importance of
effective partnership between the school and the community, increase the
effectiveness of in – service teacher training, develop the student’s personality
in all its aspects, and increase attention to promote provinces. Similar studies
on other directorates of education are recommended.
