Abstract

The importance of Egypt historically and geographically through

different ages, makes it a fertile ground for researchers to go into the swirl

of different ages that Egypt has passed by. It is important to note that the

Persian period which ancient Egypt underwent from 525 BC. , until 331 BC.

, is considered the most important of those periods as a whole; because it

represents a long period of occupation when compared with other periods excluding

the period of the Hyksos. Thus, there is a need to uncover some of

the mysteries of that historical period. This makes the researcher try to give

even a simple picture about the stages of that period; because it is filled with

historical events that contributed to the formation of the mosaic of the ancient

Egyptian society. The impact of this period whether positive or negative- as

many believe – was in the cultural side of the ancient Egyptian civilization,

and was an integral part of the cultural series of the Paranoiac civilization.
