The depiction of paradise in the imagination of creative people (Selections from the old Arabic Literature) A critical study
Keywords:
Pictures of paradise in holy Quran, creative people, old Arabic Literature, harmony or inconsistencyAbstract
The study aims to show to what extent the writers and poets are influenced
by the holy Qur’an in a special topic, mainly paradise in Qur’an, and tries
to clarify the mechanisms of recalling it in their creation ,and to what extent
they are in harmony or inconsistency with the picture of paradise pictured in
the holy Qur’an,.
The research studies this picture through selected extracts from prose
and poems in our old literature, making use of intersexuality, its modern
critical requirements and its new elements in critical analysis. The study
comes to a conclusion that is: paradise in the holy Qur’an has been the aim
“Qibla” of the poets and writers in expressing their ideas and beliefs. This is
inconsistent with the holy Qur’an expressions and contents. Some have been
in disagreement with the expressions and their meanings in the Qur’anic
texts.
The researcher aims from this study to emphasize the ability of modern
criticism with its current trends and terminology in dealing with the old
literary extracts.
