The study aims at presenting the issue of culture and civilization
change through globalization which as many believe represents European
centralization in its constant efforts to classify people, values and concepts
according to its new criteria.
The researcher chose the topic of culture because it is very hard to
compare the issue of globalization with its reflective results in isolation
from the cultural dimension specially after the emergence of the widely
spread electronic culture. This in effect, has become a stark challenge for
nations which highly estimate their cultural and civilized values like the Arab
countries.Thus, there is a contradiction that is created in this respect.
This study tries to handle this contradiction and offer solutions and
mechanisms to deal with these processes of change and modernization
and to understand their terms after studying the aspects of the crisis and
challenges that our culture is undergoing, and the challenging facing at
the essential aspects that our culture posseses should be wisely utilized to
achieve modernization and harmony with the spirit and features of the
current age.
The researcher has used a method based on induction and analysis. One
of the basic results that he has reached is the necessity to put a strategy
for comprehensive development which takes into consideration change
requirements and thier means in the cultural dimension the major aspects
which the study is based upon.
