This study deals with the reasons which caused the collapse of the
Mameluke State as well as the collapse on the Mamelukes who had a particular
importance for more than 2 decades. Initially, the study addresses the
internal circumstances of the State in terms of the army, population: the
urban, bedouin , rural and non-Moslems. The study concludes this part by
describing the state’s economic conditions. On the other side, the study tackles
the external conditions which surrounds the Mamelukes along side with the
effect of the external developments on the state’s continuity and existence.
In addition, the study analyses the causes which caused the overthrow of
the Mamelukes themselves being a political family like the other families in
the countries which collapsed and seased to exist regadless of the differences
in time and place.
