The Issue of Women Occupying Judging Positions in Islam .A Comparative Fiqh Study

This research paper is dealing with an important doctrinal issue that is
the issue of women occupying judging positions.
The researcher started the discussion by a short introductory analysis
which identified the judgment in logic and literal language. It was followed
by few evidences about the legitimacy of judging in Islam by using: Quran,
Sunnah, logic and the religious scholars’ agreements. Lately, the study
displayed the issue of acquiring women judgment positions and exhibiting
different attitudes and opinions towards this issue.
Finally, the research paper discussed different opinions and attitudes in
order to reach a sound solution for this issue.
