Abstract

This study presents a description of gender in Arabic. Classifying gender

is an indispensable phenomenon in all languages, for the human nature

categorizes all things into masculin or feminine.

Arabic has varied methods of showing feminism, some of which include

adding feminine articles, and morphological affixes to nouns, articles, and

verbs. Others doen’t include these articles.

The study is divided into an introduction, and four basic issues: Firstly,

the neutral gender and its existing in Arabic. Secondly, gender categorization

and the matching of the norms of things. Thirdly, the problem of restricting

gender and its consistency. Fourthly, Arabic rules in showing gender.
