هدفت الدراسة إلى التحقق من تكافؤ القياس لمقياس الدعم الاجتماعي المدرك متعدد الأبعاد(MSPSS) عبر الجنس لدى طلبة الجامعات الفلسطينية، واستخدم المنهج الوصفي، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم مقياس زيميت وآخرون (1988) Zimet et al. ووزع على عينة عشوائية عنقودية بلغت (383) طالباً وطالبة بواقع (125) طالب و (258) طالبة، وبهدف التحقق من تقدير النماذج العاملية استخدمت طريقة (WLSMV) من خلال برنامج (Mplus.7)، وأشارت النتائج إلى تحقق تكافؤ القياس عبر الجنس، إذ تحقق التكافؤ الشكلي والمتري والتدريج أو القوي، وجاءت قيم الفرق بين مؤشرات المطابقة أقل من (Δ ≤ .01) وفقاً لمحك شن (2007) Chen ، كما قد أظهرت النتائج تحقق البنية العاملية الثلاثية للمقياس وفقاً للإساس النظري له، وذلك اعتماداً على التحليل العاملي بشقيه الاستكشافي (EFA) والتوكيدي (CFA) إذ أظهرت مؤشرات مطابقة التحليل العاملي التوكيدي قيماً عالية وفقاً لمحكات القبول جاءت (على النحو الآتي: χ2= 94.745*, df=51, RMSEA= .047, CFI= .997, TLI= .996)، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة تحقق الصدق التقاربي والصدق التمايزي، وكشفت النتائج عن تحقق الاتساق الداخلي لمقياس (MSPSS) وذلك اعتماداً على معامل ماكدونالد أوميجا بقيمة (.906)، وأوصت الدراسة بتطبيق مقياس (MSPSS) في الدراسات اللاحقة على طلبة الجامعات الفلسطينية خصوصاً التي تهدف إلى التحقق من الفروق بين الجنسين.
