Challenges Facing Physical Education Teachers While Teaching in Hebron

This study aimed to know the difficulties facing the educational
environment of physical education teachers in the educational situation in
Hebron District.
The study population consisted of all teachers of physical education
specialists in the directorates of Education in north of Hebron, center of
Hebron and south of Hebron who are (290) teachers according to the statistics
from the directorates of education in the Hebron area of the academic year
2009 \ 2010.
The sample consisted of (148) teachers representing 58% of the original
population of the study chosen randomly. The researchers used a questionnaire
to measure these impediments. The validity was measured using Cronbach
Alpha. It was (0.95).
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive
and analytical method.
The results of the study were as follows:
The results showed no statistically significant differences at the level of
significance (α≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of physical education teachers
aware of the difficulties of the learning environment who are attributable to
the variables (sex, educational qualification, grade and years of experience).
The study showed statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤ 0.05)
between the mean scores of physical education teachers who are aware of the
difficulties of the learning environment in the implementation of their shares
due to the variable and in favor of the Directorate of Education Directorate
of Education in South Hebron.
Depending on the conclusions’ the researcher’s recommendto have
increased attention by the Ministry of Education’s share of school athletics.
Participation of experts, specialists and teachers in developing curriculum in
that Physical Education meets the needs and desires of students. Providing
students with a good curriculum to be used for physical education.
