This study aimed at recognizing the level of practice of the teachers of
the first three primary school grades for the methods that encourage creative
thinking in their students in Ajloun Governorate in Jordan.The study sample
included (200) teachers (males and females) who teach the first three primary
school class levels.The researcher used a questionnaire that consisted of (63)
item.The results showed that: teachers’ degree of practice of the methods that
encourage creative thinking in their students was moderate on the instrument
total score and in the fields of freedom of expression, positive perspectives
toward creativity teaching methods, methods of evaluation, class environment,
and creativity motivation.The study also shows that there were no significant
statistical differences related to the degree of teachers’ practice to encourage
students’ creative thinking according to variables of: sex, experience, and
qualification on all of the domains of the study instrument
